The Sleep Centers of Fort Wayne LLC are owned and operated by sleep disorders professionals who are pioneers in sleep medicine and were the first to obtain board certification in sleep medicine and established the first accredited hospital-based sleep disorders clinics in Fort Wayne, Indiana. The physicians and staff of Sleep Centers of Fort Wayne set the standard for Sleep Medicine in the Fort Wayne Metropolitan area and have done so for 25 years.
We are staffed by physicians and technologists specializing in polysomnogrphy, neurology, pulmonology, and pediatric neurology. Our staff members each have an average of 13 years experience.
Thomandram S. Sekar, MD
Dr. Sekar received his postgraduate MD from Stanley Medical College and Hosptial in Madras, India. His residency in internal medicine was completed at Wayne State University, Detroit, Michigan. In addition, he completed a fellowship in Pulmonary Diseases at Tufts University School of Medicine at St. Elizabeth’s Hospital, Boston, MA. Dr. Sekar served as medical director at both St. Joseph’s Hospital and Parkview Hospital in Fort Wayne and currently serves as medical director of the Sleep Centers of Fort Wayne. Dr. Sekar is board certified in pulmonology as well as sleep disorders.
James C. Stevens, MD, FASM
Dr. Stevens received his MD from Indiana University, Indianapolis, IN, where he received his Doctor of Medicine with honors. He completed his residency at Indiana University, Indianapolis in the Department of Neurology. He has served as director of both the St. Joseph Hospital and Lutheran Hospital (Fort Wayne) Sleep Disorders Labs since 1989. Dr. Stevens has been the principle investigator for several clinical trials concerning novel treatments for sleep disorders and has co-authored national guidelines on the diagnosis and treatment of sleep disorders. Dr. Stevens is board certified in Psychiatry & Neurology as well as Sleep Medicine. He specializes in neurology and sleep disorders.
Dr. Andrea Haller, MD
Dr. Haller grew up in New Haven, Connecticut. She earned her Bachelor’s degree from Harvard University in 1990, after which she taught organic chemistry to post-baccalaureate pre-medical students for three years. In 1993 she moved across the country to study medicine at the University of California, San Francisco, graduating in 1997 with honors. Dr. Haller also completed her internship and neurology residency at the University of California. Dr. Haller is board certified in neurology and sleep medicine. Her interests in the field of neurology are broad, and she enjoys working with patients of all ages with a wide variety of neurological illnesses.
Dr. Natalie Manalo, MD
Dr. Manalo graduated from Tulane University in New Orleans, Louisiana State University School of Medicine in Shreveport and completed her residency at Northwestern University in Evanston, Ill., where she also did a fellowship in sleep medicine. Dr. Manolo also completed a fellowship in autoimmune neurology at Harvard University. In her free time, Dr. Manalo enjoys spending time with her family, including husband JP, baby Marco and dog Ralph, as well as reading, running, interior decorating and ballet.
